Barre infused Yoga
45 minutes
6 week series 45minute sessions. Book for one or two days per week. This fusion format of isometrics exercises and traditional barre elements delivers a high energy, total body workout in 45 minutes! This is a low impact, high intensity class that incorporates movements to strengthen, tone and sculpt, followed by deep stretching to elongate the muscles and hydrate fascia.

Slow deep stretching, gentle strengthening and calming for the mind. Come play with us in this fun form of exercise and health. Warm Yoga - Slow & Steady

Enjoy our Warm Hatha yoga session. Class includes deep stretching, slow mindful movement, strengthening and balancing, with guided relaxation to release layers of tension and tightness. Enjoy the warmer temperature (not hot yoga) for winter, with mental focus to develop awareness to the whole being and internal wellness.

Yin Yoga

Melt into Yuminess! Yin is a therapeutic class that is meditative, slow paced, and helps balance an active or yang lifestyle. Yin yoga works on the the connective tissues. Connective tissue responds best to a slow, steady load, which is why we hold the poses for longer. If you gently stretch connective tissue by holding a yin pose for a long time in this way, the body will respond by making it a little longer and stronger - which is exactly what you want. Experience nourishment and release to mind, body and the nervous system.

Warm Yin/Yang

Yin yoga is often described as the other half of a yoga practice. The Yang practice is a more movement based practice, affecting muscles, making them longer and stronger. While we incorporate a little of both in this session, expect to explore the Yin side a little more then the Yang. A yin yoga practice is a slower, deeper practice affecting the connective tissues of the body. Yin Yoga encourages the body to slowly and mindfully enter yin poses using the breath to stimulate the flow of chi(energy) and remain highly focused on the sensations promoted by the pose. The lengthy posture steadiness and stillness allows one to develop passive yin qualities of surrender, allowing full nourishment to the body’s meridians and joints. Join us in a relaxing environment to cleanse the mind and body- a perfect beginning to your day.

Core Flow

The physical part of the practice is about bringing balance to the body. Some of us can benefit from more mobility (flexibility) while for others building strength and stability is going to be more useful. Our understanding of this and our knowledge of how to personalise the postures is essential to getting the most out of the practice. This class uses a combination of movement, postures and breath to work on strength, flexibility and balance to give you a good physical work-out, and a sense of calm, to keep you balanced and nurtured. Great for beginners or seasoned yogis.
